I want a general waste skip. Is there anything I can't put in it?
For legal or practical reasons there are several items and materials that cannot be put in a skip classed as general waste as these must be disposed of separately. Putting such things in a skip could result in your skip not being removed and you incurring additional charges and, in certain circumstances, could even lead to you being criminally prosecuted.
Below is a list of the most popular items that will not be accepted in a general waste skip.
Please note this is just a guide. If you are unsure about any of the waste you intend to dispose of let us know immediately.
